Dr Anton Rajadurai
Anton is a Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist who completed specialist training at Monash and Austin Health. He has a special interest in all endoscopic procedures including safe removal of large polyps, Barretts and pancreatic cancer screening, haemorrhoid banding, ERCP and EUS. Anton consults across the south east suburbs of Melbourne and travels twice a week to Bass Coast.

Dr Thomas Worland
Tom is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who completed specialist training at Monash and Austin Health. He has a special interest in liver related disease however is happy to see patients in all areas of Gastroenterology. Tom consults across the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and offers bulk billed Fibroscan follow up across Melbourne.

Dr Manjeet Sandhu

Associate Professor Jonathan Segal

MBChB, MRCP (London), BSc (Hons), FRACP, PhD

Jon is a gastroenterologist and specialist in Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He has undertaken his training in some of the best inflammatory bowel disease centres around the world including St Marks Hospital and internationally is considered a leading expert in the ileoanal pouch, a sub-speciality of Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

He completed his PhD and to date has over 110 PubMed indexed publications and has an honorary Associate Professorship with the University of Melbourne.

Jon holds public appointments at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter Mac Hospital.

Dr Anke Nguyen

BMedSci (Hons), MBBS, FRACP, PhD

Anke is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who subspecialises in bowel disorders. She combines private practice with public appointments at Eastern Health and Austin Health. Anke completed an Honours degree in Medical Science from the University of Sydney before graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine from Deakin University in 2012. She completed her gastroenterology specialist training in 2020 at major metropolitan centres including the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Health. Anke then undertook a further 1.5-year subspecialty training and research fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin, Germany. She has completed her PhD in inflammatory bowel disease at Monash University.

Anke is skilled in performing intestinal ultrasound, a non-invasive method of diagnosing inflammation in the bowel, following training at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin and at Alfred Health.

She has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease and performing endoscopy. She also has extensive experience in managing other gastrointestinal disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, iron deficiency and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and liver diseases.

Dr William Chung

MBBS, BMedSci, FRACP

Will is a Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist and Endoscopist who is a consultant specialist at the Austin Hospital and The Royal Melbourne Hospital. William obtained his medical degree from the University of Melbourne and is currently a PhD candidate with a project in liver cancer research.

He has broad interests in hepatology (liver medicine), endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy), inflammatory bowel disease, bowel cancer screening, liver cancer screening and treatment, viral hepatitis (hepatitis B and C), non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, iron deficiency anaemia, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, and irritable bowel syndrome. Will visits Goulburn Valley Health, Shepparton fortnightly for clinic and endoscopy lists. He has assisted in the development of an Inflammatory Bowel Disease service there.

William has completed further training overseas, including a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at the Royal Free Hospital in London, United Kingdom (2019-2020). His other international experience includes a month-long observership at the Gastroenterology department at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge University, United Kingdom (2014). During medical school he completed a month-long sub-internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, United States and received a High Honours/High Recommendation grading (2012).
