WE OFFER -TMS TREATMENT (rTMS), -TRANSCRANIAL DIRECT CURRENT STIMULATION (tDCS), -DEEP TMS TREATMENT (dTMS).
These treatments can be used to treat the following conditions:
MAJOR DEPRESSIVE DISORDER (MDD):
- Treatment-Resistant Depression: TMS is commonly used for patients who do not respond to at least two antidepressant medications.
- Mechanism: TMS involves the use of magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, particularly in regions thought to be involved in mood regulation, such as
- the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex.
OTHER PSYCHIATRIC CONDITIONS
(though less common):
- Anxiety Disorders: Studies and research have shown significant therapeutic benefits of TMS for Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD): dTMS is used for the treatment of OCD. TMS in treatment resistant OCD particularly using dTMS.
