Dr Tim Bennett
Tim is a Melbourne trained rheumatologist and general physician. He was drawn to the field of rheumatology due to the complex interplay between inflammatory disease and the impact this has on patients function and quality of life. With the patient at the centre of care, Tim aims to integrate medical and lifestyle interventions, to assist his patients to achieve their optimal physical function.
Tim completed his medical studies at the University of Melbourne in 2002, and obtained Fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) in 2011. He has public appointments at Box Hill Hospital, and at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service.
Tim is actively involved in the education and training of tomorrows doctors, and enjoys his roles of lecturer at Monash Medical School and tutor at the University of Melbourne Medical School. Tim is a local examiner for the RACP and is a supervisor of rheumatology training at Box Hill Hospital. In 2013 he completed a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Education. Through completion of a Master of Public Health, Tim understands the impact socioeconomic factors have on community and individual health outcomes.
Dr Champa Nataraja
Dr Champa Nataraja is a consultant rheumatologist at Articulated Health and a physician-scientist.
Champa graduated (MBBS) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. She undertook basic physician training at the University Hospital Geelong, Victoria in 2015, and completed specialist training in Rheumatology at Monash Health and the Royal Hobart Hospital. She is a fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Rheumatology and a member of the Australian Rheumatology Association. Champa completed her PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) in 2020 from Monash University. She has presented her research at the national and international conferences in Rheumatology.
Champa has a special interest in inflammatory arthritis, musculoskeletal diseases, connective tissue diseases as well as complex rheumatic diseases. She aims to provide a high quality medical services in rheumatology and care for her patients.
Dr Keith Lim
Clinical Associate Professor Keith K Lim is currently the Director of Rheumatology at Western Health and at the Melbourne University Clinical School of Medicine and also Head of the OA clinic at St Vincents Hospital. He is an experienced clinician and has been a teacher and mentor to many rheumatologists over the years. He completed his MBBS at Melbourne University and then trained extensively overseas completing his MD thesis at Bristol University with Professor Paul Dieppe. His main clinical and research interests are in osteoarthritis and inflammatory arthritis. He also speaks Malay, Cantonese and Hokkien.
