Dr Gordon Slater specialises in foot & ankle surgery, with particular expertise in sports injuries & minimally invasive surgery (MIS), including advanced bunion correction techniques.
He trained in advanced foot & ankle surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. His scope of practice includes bunion correction, Charcot foot, sports injuries, ankle reconstruction & ankle arthroscopy.
Committed to a conservative approach, he prioritises non-surgical treatments such as splints, medication, podiatry & physiotherapy before considering surgical intervention. An accredited expert witness, he is qualified to assess permanent impairment under NSW WorkCover Guides & the American Medical Association Guides.
