Prof Gordon Slater specialises in foot & ankle surgery, with expertise in regenerative medicine, sports injuries & minimally invasive surgery (MIS), including advanced foot & ankle osteoarthritis, charcot & bunion correction techniques.

He trained in foot & ankle surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. His scope of practice includes regenerative medicine, osteoarthritis, bunion correction, charcot disease, sports injuries, ankle reconstruction & ankle arthroscopy.

Committed to a regenerative medicine approach he prioritises limb salvage & adjunct regenerative therapies.

An accredited expert witness, he is qualified to assess permanent impairment under NSW Workcover Guides & the American Medical Association Guides. Prof Gordon Slater regularly attends conferences & has published research & clinical papers.
He is actively involved in regenerative medicine research, exploring stem cell, HBOT & PRP adjunct therapies for cartilage regeneration & sports injury treatment.
