Dr Balendra is an Australian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon who is highly experienced in robotic-assisted hip and knee replacement surgery and has been performing robotic joint replacements since 2019.

By combining surgical expertise with advanced robotic technology, Dr Balendra is able to deliver precise implant positioning, personalised surgical planning, and improved alignment tailored to each patient.

Dr Balendra has a special interest in sports knee surgery undertook advanced sub-specialist training at the world-renowned Fortius Clinic in London, UK, where he further developed his expertise in knee ligament reconstruction, meniscal surgery, and joint preservation surgery.

Dr Balendra completed his Orthopaedic surgical training across multiple hospitals in Queensland. On completion of his surgical training, Dr Balendra travelled to the United Kingdom to undertake further sub-specialist training, His first fellowship was in Sports Knee Surgery at the Fortius Clinic in London, It was here that he furthered his expertise in ACL reconstruction, multi-ligament knee reconstruction, meniscal surgery & joint preservation surgery. Dr Balendra subsequently undertook fellowships in Advanced Adult Hip Reconstruction & Complex Trauma Surgery at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol, where he further refined his skills in complex & revision joint replacement surgery
