services
SERVICES OFFERED:
- Varicose Veins & Venous Disorders - Untreated varicose veins can lead to pain, swelling, skin discolouration, venous eczema, and leg ulcers. Dr Williams offers modern minimally invasive treatments, including ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation, and non-thermal vein closure, often with minimal anaesthetic with rapid recovery.
- Aortic & Mesenteric Aneurysms - These aneurysms can be life-threatening if they rupture, causing severe internal bleeding. Dr Williams provides endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR and fenestrated/branched grafts for complex anatomy), enabling repair through small groin incisions to minimise hospital stay and speed recovery.
- Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) - PAD can cause disabling claudication, limb ulcers, and critical limb-threatening ischaemia, which may result in amputation if untreated. Dr Williams utilises advanced endovascular techniques, including atherectomy to remove plaque, drug-coated balloons, and stent placement to restore blood flow and preserve limb function.
- Carotid Artery Disease - Narrowing of the carotid arteries significantly increases the risk of stroke. Dr Williams offers both conventional carotid endarterectomy and minimally invasive carotid artery stenting, selecting the most appropriate approach for each patient to reduce stroke risk and improve outcomes.
- Vascular Access Surgery - For patients requiring haemodialysis or chemotherapy, reliable vascular access is essential. Dr Williams creates and maintains dialysis fistulas and grafts, and performs portacath insertions, using both surgical and image-guided techniques to ensure long-term function and minimise complications
