Associate Professor Raewyn Campbell is a highly respected rhinologist and skull base surgeon, specialising in complex surgeries of the nose, sinuses, and anterior skull base. She has completed three prestigious international fellowships in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, enhancing her clinical expertise through training in Auckland, New Zealand, and in the United States at leading medical centers in Philadelphia and Columbus.
A/Prof Campbell is a dedicated academic, having published numerous journal articles and book chapters, contributing significantly to the evolving knowledge in her specialty. She is a regular presenter at major specialist conferences around the world, sharing her insights and expertise with fellow surgeons and researchers. As an enthusiastic educator, Dr. Campbell teaches medical students and ENT trainees, and plays a key role in rhinology and skull base surgery courses both locally and internationally, helping to shape the next generation of surgeons.
In addition to her clinical practice and teaching, her involvement in ongoing research keeps her at the forefront of innovation in rhinology and skull base surgery. A/Prof Campbell currently serves as the Vice-President of the Australia and New Zealand Rhinologic Society and as Secretary of the Australia and New Zealand Skull Base Society. Additionally, she is on the International Committee for the North American Skull Base Society, reflecting her influence on a global scale.
Dr. Campbell is currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Sydney, furthering her research in her subspecialty area. Although her subspecialty focuses on advanced adult rhinologic and skull base conditions, she also maintains a strong interest in paediatric and adult otorhinolaryngology.
