Dr Wisam Ihsheish completed his school education in Canberra. Following completion of undergraduate medical training through the University of Adelaide he returned to Canberra and Goulbrn to commence work. He undertook junior surgical training in various specialties prior to commencing formal orthopaedic surgical training through the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association.
Dr Ihsheish successfully completed formal training with excellent commendations in 2010. He has worked in close to thirty hospitals in rural and metropolitan locations, and has included work in overseas trauma settings as part of his interest lies in trauma surgery.
Dr Ihsheish is caring and compassionate, he will take all necessary steps to educate his patients about their specific condition, and explain in relevant detail the surgical and non surgical options available to best manage their symptoms. Dr Ihsheish takes great care in making sure his patients receive the best care and skill in their surgery, and is a firm believer in close follow-up care after the surgery as that a vital step in good functional recovery.
Following successful completion of training in Australia, have worked in over 30 hospitals in 5 countries, gaining experience in the below interests, the task of keeping up with information is ongoing. We run two clinics - Canberra and Goulburn currently.
