Chris Jones

Mr Chris Jones has been providing specialist care for hip and knee conditions in the Bayside area for over ten years.

Chris attained his medical degree at Monash University in 2000. He completed his orthopaedic training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2009. On completion of his training, he spent over a year working as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for both Monash Health and Alfred Health, before travelling overseas to complete a hip and knee fellowship with Dr Michael Dunbar in Halifax, Canada.

He has an established practice in hip and knee surgery at Linacre Private Hospital and performs hundreds of hip and knee replacement surgeries each year, specialising in robotic-assisted and muscle-sparing techniques. He is actively involved in teaching and training, as well as the administration of orthopaedics, and has previously been an AOA Victoria Executive Committee member and an AOA AMA Victoria representative.
