Dr James Pang is a highly experienced Gastroenterologist who offers a wide range of GI and endoscopic services (both public and private patients) in Sydneys North Shore and the Central Coast..

Dr Pang obtained his medical degree from the University of NSW in 2006 and completed his gastroenterology training through St George and Campbelltown Hospitals in Sydney. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2014 and completed his Masters in Medicine through the University of Sydney in 2016.

After completing his formal gastroenterology training in Australia, he spent 2 years working abroad in Hong Kong as a clinical research fellow, focusing on viral hepatitis (Hepatitis B and C) and non-alcohol fatty liver disease. Dr Pang is a Conjoint Committee accredited endoscopist (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA).

Dr Pang is actively involved in and is passionate about teaching future specialists, junior doctors and medical students. Dr Pang is a conjoint lecturer at the University of Newcastle and is a supervisor of gastroenterology advanced trainees and medical students at Gosford Hospital.
