Mr Paul Anderson is a urological surgeon based in Melbourne, Victoria
His clinical interests include bladder cancer, stone surgery, laparoscopic renal surgery and laser prostatectomy. He also performs microsurgical vaso vasostomy (vasectomy reversal)
He is currently engaged in clinical research in bladder cancer and BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia)
Mr Anderson graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1994. After completing training as a Urologist with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Victoria he undertook a fellowship in pelvic oncology at the University Hospital of Wales, UK. He worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Guys Hospital in London before returning to Melbourne in 2008
Mr Anderson has a strong interest in Academic Urology, in both education and research. He has held university appointments at the University of Melbourne, Monash University, Stanford University (California) and Cardiff University (Wales). He is an examiner in Physiology for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
Mr Benjamin Thomas is a consultant urological surgeon with appointments at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australian Prostate Centre and Australian Medical Robotics Academy and is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Melbourne.
He completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne (MBBS) and his urological training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He completed fellowships at Cambridge University Hospitals, Cambridge and the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm and a Master of Philosophy degree at the University of Cambridge (MPhil) for research in prostate cancer. he was a substantive consultant urological surgeon at Cambridge University Hospitals where he was Chair of the Urological Cancer Multidisciplinary Team and Lead for Robotic Surgery.
His practice covers all major aspects of Urology with a particular interest in urological cancer surgery utilising both open and robotic approaches. he operates privately at Epworth Hospitals and St Vincent's Private Hospital. he has additional public appointments at Peninsula Health and St Vincent's Hospital.
Mr Ranjit Rao is a consultant Urologist with special interests in robotic prostate surgery, laparoscopic surgery, laser stone and prostate surgery.
He stays up to date with current practices by attending international conferences as well as local multidisciplinary meetings and seminars.
