Dr Bhisham Singh

I am an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in spine surgery. I am trained in treating spine conditions from the neck to the lower back as well as orthopaedic conditions.

I have a keen interest in spinal surgery and believe that all treatment should be in the patient's best interest and be based on the latest scientific evidence.

I completed my medical degree in 1996 and my orthopaedic training in 2001 from the University of Mumbai. I then did specialised training in paediatric orthopaedics and spine surgery before moving to the UK and achieving the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCSE) in 2009.

My family and I moved to Sydney in 2011. Here I completed two prestigious year-long AOA- accredited fellowships: the first in paediatric spine and deformity at the Children's Hospital at Westmead and the second in adult spine surgery, deformity and trauma at the Royal North Shore Hospital. I qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2015.

Specialist Training
Dr Singh completed his medical & orthopaedic training in Mumbai before moving to the UK. There he achieved fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009. Dr Singh then moved to Sydney where he completed 2 years of accredited fellowships. He qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015.
