About Dr Bhisham Singh
I am an orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in spine surgery. I am trained in treating spine conditions from the neck to the lower back as well as orthopedic conditions.
I have a keen interest in spinal surgery and believe that all treatment should be in the patient’s best interest and be based on the latest scientific evidence.
I completed my medical degree in 1996 and my orthopaedic training in 2001 from the University of Mumbai. I then did specialized training in paediatric orthopaedics and spine surgery before moving to the UK and achieving the fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2009.
My family and I moved to Sydney in 2011. Here I completed two prestigious year-long AOA- accredited fellowships: the first in paediatric spine and deformity at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and the second in adult spine surgery, deformity and trauma at the Royal North Shore Hospital. I qualified with the FRACS in 2015.
