A/Prof Scott Ferris has extensive experience across the breadth of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
The Microsurgical aspects of Plastic Surgery feature heavily in his practise. This includes managing Brachial Plexus Injury, Tumours and Compression.
He also treats the less common but debilitating Brachial Neuritis (also called Neuralgic Amyotrophy or Parsonage-Turner Syndrome). He is a leader in Neurogenic & Mixed Thoracic Outlet Syndrome Management.
Additionally he undertakes management of other Complex Peripheral Nerve Pathology including Facial Nerve Palsy & Foot Drop.

He is well published in the surgical literature & frequently presents nationally & internationally in his areas of interest.

He is the Director of the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit in East Melbourne & Deputy Director of Plastic Surgery at The Alfred Hospital
