Dr Dowd is a fully qualified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with major interests in Hand and Skin Cancer Surgery. He received his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in Australia and has done an 18-month Fellowship at the St Andrews Centre for Plastic and Hand Surgery in the UK. He has completed the Diploma in Hand Surgery at the Federation of European Societies for Surgery of the Hand. He has published numerous research articles in Hand and Skin Cancer Surgery.
