Dr Tanushree Rao is a Gynaecologist with a strong focus on advanced minimally invasive, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. She specialises in complex procedures including total laparoscopic hysterectomy, laparoscopic myomectomy, ovarian cystectomy, vaginal hysterectomy, and pelvic floor reconstructive surgery.

Dr Rao has a particular interest and expertise in the management of endometriosis and complex pelvic pathology, with an emphasis on precision surgery, fertility preservation where appropriate, and enhanced recovery.

She has completed the prestigious AGES (Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgery) training program in Sydney and is a Certified Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon. Dr Rao is also a trained and credentialed robotic surgeon, and a recognised proctor and key opinion leader in robotic surgery.
