about Dr Stephen Oh
Dr Stephen Oh is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist who specialises in disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. He is a consultant at Lakeview Private Hospital, Nepean Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital and Campsie Day Surgery. Dr Oh completed his medical degree at University of New South Wales in 2004 and underwent medical training at Westmead Hospital, Royal North Shore and St.Vincents Hospital in Sydney. He was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012. He then spent 2 years in the United States for an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Wake Forest Health, North Carolina and pancreatic cancer research fellowship at Virginia Mason Medical Center, Washington State, Seattle.
Dr Oh is highly skilled in gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic mucosal resection and capsule endoscopy. He has particular interests in EUS, pancreatobiliary disease and gastrointestinal cancer. He is a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australasia and American Gastroenterological Association. He has been actively involved in clinical research and published papers in the field of pancreatic cancer, EUS, general gastroenterology and hepatology.
