Dr Mudar Zand Irani

Dr Zand Irani is a dual-trained Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist, and specialist in General and Acute Care Medicine, consulting across multiple Sydney locations.

He completed advanced fellowship training in gastrointestinal motility and disorders of gut-brain interaction at the University of Newcastle under Laureate Professor Nicholas Talley, as well as further training in interventional endoscopy. Dr Zand Irani holds a conjoint academic appointment and is undertaking a PhD at the University of Newcastle investigating the immune pathology of gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
