Dr Hunter Wang is a highly trained Gastroenterologist at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Concord Hospital with expertise in the latest advanced endoscopic procedures. He practises evidence‑based medicine in a holistic manner and takes great care with each patients unique needs, prioritising clear communication and optimal outcomes. He has published in peer‑reviewed journals, presented at national and international meetings, and serves on the Young GESA Committee and the APAGE Emerging Leaders Committee.
He is fluent in Chinese and will accommodate urgent referrals.

PROCEDURES: Gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), ERCP, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM), cholangioscopy, small bowel balloon enteroscopy, radiofrequency ablation.

REFERRAL AREAS: Cancer screening and surveillance, endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal cancers, iron deficiency anaemia and GI bleeding, large/complex polyps, Barretts oesophagus and reflux, pancreatobiliary disease and pancreatic cysts, chronic liver disease, coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease.
