Dr Ajay Kumar

I am an experienced dermatologist.

I completed my dermatology fellowship, leading to FACD in 2001, after undergoing training at Liverpool, St Vincent's, Prince of Wales as well as Concord Hospitals. I also completed a research year at the Skin and Cancer Foundation at Darlinghurst, under Professor Steven Kossard.

Prior to this I trained and qualified as a dermatologist in India leading to an MD. I was selected for the National Science Talent Award, awarded to the top 100 science students in India.

I have published numerous dermatology articles in Australian and international journals and given presentations at a number of dermatology conferences.

My areas of expertise include diagnosis & treatment of skin cancers, including flap and graft repairs. Other interests include managing acne, eczema, psoriasis and identifying signs of connective tissue disease.
