Dr Devang Parikh

Dr Devang Parikh is a senior staff specialist and interventional Cardiologist at Nepean Public Hospital. He also has appointments at Nepean Private and Norwest Private hospitals. He has been practising in the Nepean-Blue Mountains & North West Sydney area since 2013.

Dr Parikh has performed more than 4000 coronary interventions including complex procedures involving intravascular imaging and plaque modification with rotational atherectomy and Intra-vascular lithotripsy.

He has a keen interest in the management of cardiovascular risk factors including lipids in both primary and secondary prevention settings. He sees the benefits of this in his everyday practice as an interventional cardiologist.

Besides his clinical interests, he is also the director of clinical training for advanced trainees at the Nepean-Macquarie University Hospital network. He is actively involved in teaching and mentoring the next generation of cardiologists.

Besides English, he is proficient in Hindi, Gujarati & Marathi languages.
