The Canberra Heart Clinic provides expert cardiology consultation, pre-operative assessment, cardiac device follow-up as well as teleconsultation. A comprehensive cardiac investigation service includes transthoracic echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, ECG performance and reporting, 24-Hour Holter Monitor to 7-Day Holter Monitor and 24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring. Following consultation inpatients procedures if required can be organised. This includes coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention, transoesophageal echocardiography, cardioversion, electrophysiological study and ablation, device implantation, percutaneous structural heart disease therapies and cardiac surgery.

Dr Christopher Allada
After completing his medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 1996, he commenced work at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. In 2001, he commenced cardiology training at St Vincents Hospital in Sydney, and this included 12 months in its prestigious heart failure and cardiac transplant unit. He commenced work as cardiologist in Ballarat in 2004 but soon realized that his passion was interventional cardiology. In 2006, he spent a year at Canberra Hospital as the interventional cardiology fellow and returned to Canberra in 2009 as an interventional cardiologist at Canberra Hospital. He continued in this position to 2023. He currently works at National Capital Private Hospital and is on its Medical Advisory Committee and also has an appointment at Calvary John James Hospital. Dr Allada is highly proficient in complex coronary disease management and utilizes imaging modalities such fractional flow reserve (FFR), optical computerised tomography (OCT) and fractional flow reserve (FFR) as required. Dr Allada founded the Canberra Heart Clinic in 2010. Its Deakin rooms were beautifully renovated in 2018 and the rooms at Marketplace Gungahlin were opened in May 2023.

Dr Kris Nowakowski
Kris Nowakowski is a cardiologist and internationally recognised echocardiography specialist with expertise in echocardiography, guidance of structural intervention and echocardiology procedures, valvular heart disease, heart failure, sports cardiology, preventative cardiology and cardio-oncology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 2001. He undertook basic physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, where he also commenced cardiology training. Kris completed advanced cardiology training at The Prince Charles Hospital. Kris then undertook an advanced echocardiography fellowship at St Pauls Hospital in Vancouver, a world-renowned centre for heart valve innovation. Kris has been certified as a Diplomate in echocardiography by the American National Board of Echocardiography and was elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography in recognition of his expertise and extraordinary commitment to cardiovascular ultrasound. 

Dr Ala Mustafa
Dr Mustafa completed his medical degree MD in Jerusalem. He has completed his internship, residency and basic paediatric training in London and Qatar. He then moved to Australia in 2010 to complete 4 years of advance training in paediatric at Sydney Children Hospital. He has completed 7 years of training in the field of paediatric cardiology at Hadassah University hospital in Jerusalem, Monash Heart, Royal Children Hospital in Melbourne as well as Queensland Childrens Hospital in Brisbane. Dr Mustafa also trained at worlds prestigious Great Ormond Street Hospital to gain state of art new advances in diagnosing children with complex heart disease. Dr Mustafa has specialised in congenital and acquired heart diseases in children with a special interest in paediatric echocardiography. Children are not small adults, and their health care needs, especially cardiac concerns, should be diagnosed and treated by specialists who understand the needs of children. Dr Mustafa is the only paediatric cardiologist thaqt is based in Canberra. 

Dr Davinder Pal Singh
Dr Davinder Pal Singh is a specialist in cardiology with over seven years of experience. He completed his primary medical degree from Government Medical College, Jammu, India and MD Medicine from Sher - i - Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences. Further to which he pursued DM in Cardiology from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla, India. He has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, cardiac arrhythmias, preventive cardiology and oncocardiology. He worked as an interventional cardiologist in North India (2016 to 2019), and following this worked in Dubai as a general cardiologist.

Dr Amit Michael
Dr Amit Michael is a very experienced cardiologist who completed his medical training at the prestigious Christian Medical College in India followed by cardiology training at the Waikato Hospital in New Zealand and the Royal Adelaide Hospital. He furthered his skills by pursuing an interventional cardiology fellowship at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. Dr Michael then completed an additional 12 months in a structural heart interventional fellowship at the world class Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Dr Michaels expertise includes general cardiology, cardiac imaging, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention including complex coronary intervention. Structural intervention procedures performed by Dr Michael include transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), valve in valve implantation, valve in ring implantation, Mitraclip, Triclip, transcatheter mitral valve replacement, balloon mitral valvuloplasty, paravalvular leak closure, patent foramen ovale (PFO) / atrial septal defect (ASD) closure and left atrial appendage closure. He currently works as a Staff Specialist cardiologist at the North Canberra Hospital. He is also accredited as a Visiting Medical Officer at the Macquarie University Hospital in Sydney where he undertakes all his cardiac interventions.

Dr Jaydeep Mandal
After obtaining his basic medical degree in India, Dr Jaydeep Mandal obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom (FRCP) and in Australia (FRACP). He worked as a consultant in acute internal medicine in the UK, from 2006 to 2014, and then as a consultant in general medicine in Bathurst, Australia from 2014 to 2023. In 2023 he moved with his young family to Canberra and is a general medicine consultant at the Canberra Hospital in the Acute Medical Unit. He has a keen interest in general cardiology, general respiratory medicine, type 2 diabetes, thyroid diseases, and cardio-metabolic diseases. His skills make him an ideal specialist to manage patients that require private and commercial vehicle licence renewal, perioperative assessment, and management or in the diagnostic evaluation of undifferentiated dizziness, syncope, and breathlessness.
