Cyrenian House was established in 1981 as a not-for-profit non-government organisation to deliver a professional, ethical and effective Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Treatment Service. We provide a continuum of care to people affected by AOD issues providing a range of treatment options in an endeavour to meet our individual consumer needs.
Cyrenian House keeps pace with emerging drug and alcohol trends and consumer needs and continually reviews, develops and implements programs designed to prevent and reduce drug-related harm to individuals and the community. The organisation has strong records of excellence in service delivery, including direct experience in delivering services to Aboriginal people and families impacted by substance use.
Our Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Service offers a wide range programs to the community. We are an organisation that provides the highest quality services to make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs.

Cyrenian Central - Non-residential Counselling services
Our non-residential services and residential assessment team are located at 318 Fitzgerald Street, Perth. Alcohol and other drug counselling is available along with a range of other programs and services designed to reduce the harm
related to alcohol and other drug use for individuals and families.
Residential Treatment Programs
Our residential treatment programs offer a person-centred approach, focusing on overall lifestyle changes, not simply abstinence from alcohol or drug use, to individuals struggling with alcohol and/or other drug related issues.
The treatment model is based on a self-help approach that supports the community as the primary influencer for promoting positive personal growth.
Residents actively participate in the program and provide support to fellow residents within a therapeutic community environment

GPs & Professionals
Cyrenian House welcomes referrals from GPs and other health professionals for consumers seeking treatment for their alcohol and other drug issues.
In order to appropriately match people with the most suitable therapeutic intervention, it is useful to gather all relevant information. This maximises the chances of a successful treatment outcome for an individual. Referral information will be used in an assessment and treatment matching process in consultation with the consumer.
